The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls – University of Baghdad, Prof. Fatima Abd Maleh, supervised the discussion of the doctoral thesis tagged (the effect of visual tracking exercises on developing the most important special abilities and the performance of some foil skills for women) by the student (Maarib Jawad Kazim).

The most important conclusions are: the visual tracking exercises led to the development of special abilities and skill performance in the foil of the experimental group members is better than the regular curriculum of the control group, and the effectiveness of the regular curriculum followed in the sport of fencing was proven in developing the special abilities and skillful performance in the foil of the members of the control group. The most important recommendations were: the need to pay attention to continuous training to develop the special abilities and offensive and defensive skill performance of the female fencing players through investing complex motor, physical and skill exercises similar to the skill performance, and to work on creating electronic devices that measure and develop visual tracking in the sport of fencing.

After discussing the student’s thesis, the committee recommended granting her a doctorate in the philosophy of physical education and sports sciences.
